The Humour Festival

Welcome to The Humour Festival - no it's not a Stand Up Comedy festival where you find the best comedians. This Festival is devoted to exploring the broad subject of humour and its many facets. You'll have the opportunity to engage in various discussions and workshops and meet people from various parts of the world who are connected by their passion for humour as a powerful medium for engaging people and encouraging learning.

The Humour Alliance Humour Festival is designed to celebrate the value, importance, relevance, benefits, and power of humour to Youth Work Practitioners and Non-Formal Educators. A week of events exploring a range of related themes has been organised. Each day has a theme - Increasing Knowledge, Skills Acquisition, Sharing Tools, Reaching New Audiences and Having Fun! Be part of the festival and join as we do not only celebrate humour but consider its impact, role and capacity for transforming people, thinking, relationships and situations.
