Davon berichten Forscher*innen bei der amerikanischen Weltraumbehörde NASA, an den kanarischen Observatorien und an den heißesten und kältesten Orten des Planeten.

The sun is the miracle that explains everything – but also the greatest danger. For the first time, a feature-length documentary is dedicated to the search for the meaning of the home star for people, science and nature.

For planet earth the sun is not just any star. It is the star. As science unravels more secrets about the sun, it inevitably brings us closer to its ultimate demise. This is reported by researchers at the American space agency NASA, at the Canary Islands observatories Teide and Roque de los Muchachos, and at the hottest and coldest places on the planet.
