The seminar will take place on the 12.05.2023 from 9am to 5 pm in Geb. 30.91 at KIT South Campus.
The schedule is as follows:
- 9 am - 12 m : Small lecture by Robin Schiemer (MAB, KIT) covering the fundamentals of machine learning like regression, classification, and the respective algorithms.
- 12 m - 2 pm: Lunch pause
- 2 pm - 2:45 pm : Presentation "Self-learning digital twins to reduce time-to-market" by Thomas Zahel (Körber Pharma)
- 2:45 pm - 3 pm : Presentation "Machine Learning for drug design applications" by Prof. Dr. Pascal Friederich (INT, KIT)
- 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm : Presentation "Revolutionizing pharmaceutical visual inspection with AI" by Mario Holl (InspectifAI)
Following the last presentation, a BBQ will take place at Geb. 30.91, where the attendees will have the opportunity to network and discuss about the presentations. The BBQ is sponsored by the Student Chapter, but feel free to bring a salad or a snack with you :) .
