The German International Placement Service (ZAV) and EURES, together with the Protestant Deanery Wiesbaden, are offering 15 places for the following project:
„Welcome to the Kindergarten!”
Project to work as an educator in kindergartens of the Protestant Deanery Wiesbaden in Wiesbaden, the capital of the federal state of Hesse
What are the requirements for participants?
- Holding one of the following professional diploma from Italy or Spain (other qualifications are not possible)
- Laurea in scienze dell'educazione
- Laurea in scienze dell'educazione e della formazione
- Graduado en Magisterio Educación Infantil
- Graduado en Educación Infantil
- Nationality of an EU Member State, Norway or Iceland or have a long-term residence permit for the EU
- Willingness to move to Wiesbaden to live and work there long-term
- Willingness to learn German intensively in your home country up to level B1
- Willingness to continue learning German for 6 months in Germany in order to obtain a German B2 certificate (this certificate will be necessary to continue the project)
- Willingness to work in religious education
- Joy and enthusiasm, sensitivity and mindfulness in dealing with children, parents and the team
There are many advantages for the participants in the project:
- employment contract with a 6 month probationary period in a kindergarten of the Protestant Deanery in the city or district of Wiesbaden
- a fixed-term employment until the professional recognition is obtained: EUR 3,012.50 gross/month (without previous relevant professional experience; experience will be taken into account upon presentation of employment references)
- a permanent employment from the time of the recognition is obtained: EUR 3,740.00 gross/month
- Further support during the professional recognition procedure in the daycare center (which is necessary for working in a kindergarten in the federal state of Hesse)
- Support in finding accommodation
- A financed preparatory online German language course in your home country up to German level B1 starting on 6 January 2025
- German language course in Wiesbaden up to German level B2 financed by the employer, which will run parallel to work
- The employer takes great care of the necessary aspects of integration and equal opportunities for women and men
- There is a wide range of leisure activities around Wiesbaden
- The participants live in the city or district of Wiesbaden, where the quality of life is very good and the natural environment is very precious
- EURES mobility grants can be applied for to cover a part of the costs for travel to interviews, the German language course in your home country, the move to Germany or expenses related to recognition of the degree (if the requirements are met)
