The protection of your personal data is of the utmost importance to us.
In order to participate in our event you must register with the relevant office or contact person. Participation in our event is voluntary.
By registering, you provide us with the personal data necessary for the organisation and implementation of the event. This may include, among other things, your name, contact details, institution, event data and payment information.
Purpose and legal basis
The processing of the personal data you provide is necessary and required to enable you to participate in the event, to guarantee you access on the day of the respective event and to be able to answer any questions you may have regarding participation. Without this data, participation in our events is not possible.
For events that are subject to a fee, additional data is collected to ensure proper payment processing, which in turn is a prerequisite for participation in events that are subject to a fee.
We do not collect or process your data beyond this.
Transfer of your personal data
We also use solutions from IT service providers to organise and run our events. Personal data processed in connection with your registration and payment processing may be passed on to external service providers. The companies used for this purpose process the data exclusively on our behalf. Corresponding order processing agreements in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR have been concluded for this purpose.
Duration of data storage
We delete personal data as a matter of principle if there is no legal basis for further storage. Your personal data collected and processed in connection with registration for our events will therefore be stored for as long as is necessary for the organisation of the event. Storage beyond this period will only take place if the data must be processed within the framework of statutory retention obligations or if the data is still required, in particular to fulfil contractual services, to check or defend warranty and, if applicable, guarantee claims.
Your rights
You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates applicable data protection law or that your data protection rights are otherwise violated in any way, you can file a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority
