Mechanistic Chromatography modeling is one of the many tools contributing to the digital transformation of the medicinal biotechnology industry. Although not the easiest tool to work with, there is beauty in their complexity. Like many new technologies, there are both technical and non-technical challenges to implementing chromatography modeling in the highly regulated biotechnology industry. However advances in supporting technologies are paving the way for modeling to play a bigger role in the future of the industry.
