Science Communication on Social Media

The International Summer School “Communicating Science” organized by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and Wissenschaft im Dialog was a great opportunity to learn impactful lessons from inspiring experts and meet like-minded people from all over the world. Now, we expand the format and we invite you to a new series of regular virtual meetings addressing topics of Science Communication starting 28th of June 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

The follow-up meetings are aimed at giving deeper insights on Science Communication and additional training for hands-on activities. Further, we want to provide a platform for exchange with experts and other young scientists engaging in Science Communication. The topic of the first session will be “Science Communication on Social Media”. Rebecca Winkels (Director of Communications and Strategy at Wissenschaft im Dialog) and another expert will give impulse talks and will answer all your questions regarding Social Media as a channel for Science Communication.    

The International Summer School “Communicating Science” in 2021 was brought to you by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH) and Wissenschaft im Dialog (WiD). For the follow-up meetings, AvH and WiD have teamed up with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Germany’s largest academic exchange organizer.
