In this event we will look at economic policy in the context of the U.S. elections. Prof Egan will address the economy as a voting issue in the 2024 elections, possible impacts of the electoral outcome on the U.S. and global economies, and transatlantic trade dynamics. She will further explore the political and electoral dynamics of the Biden administration’s economic policy and energy transition. We will further investigate the ramifications that the new administration’s policies could have on international trade – with a particular focus on the EU.
