MRI safety
Medical devices – including medical implants – in a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) environment pose risks to patients, such as electromagnetic interactions and radio frequency heating. The MRI safety testing of medical devices is necessary to ensure the patient's safety and the performance of the implant as well as compliance with the regulations. 
This webinar reviews risks to patients with implants and examines the related standards and the solutions for characterising the risks associated with the medical devices in the MRI environment. The MRI testing services offered by TÜV SÜD evaluate medical devices and their MR-labelling to ensure patient safety.
