The native people of the Uru-eu-wau-wau are fighting the disappearance of their homeland. Because settlers and farmers are cutting down the rainforest in the Brazilian Amazon.

With the help of an unusual camera work and an equally sophisticated sound design, "The Territory" takes us deep into the community of the people, but also approaches the settlers and farmers who illegally burn and clear land.

Film talk: Almost daily the rights of indigenous peoples regarding land and natural resources are disregarded. However, this gets barely prosecuted. How can these rights be better protected?
