Welcome to GEPC 2026
The 1st German Electric Propulsion Conference brings together researchers, engineers and representatives from industry working in the field of electric propulsion and related technologies.
The scientific programme comprises 35 contributed presentations and six invited keynote lectures covering plasma diagnostics, simulation and numerical methods, air-breathing electric propulsion, iodine propellant technology, arc-based and gridded thrusters, power electronics, and European high-power electric propulsion projects. The conference is organised as a single-track event, allowing all participants to attend every presentation.

The scientific programme begins at 09:00 on Tuesday and concludes with a farewell lunch on Thursday, ending at 13:45.
Registration fee
The registration fee is EUR 300, including VAT. It covers:
• all coffee breaks during the conference;
• lunch on 22, 23 and 24 September;
• the Welcome Reception and barbecue on 21 September; and
• the Conference Dinner on 23 September.

Registration and internet access
From Tuesday onward, the registration desk will be located outside the Biology Lecture Hall and will be staffed throughout the conference hours.
Wi-Fi is available via eduroam. Guests without eduroam access may use JLU’s open guest network, JLUGuest.
