The European Research Council (ERC) is a flagship component under "Horizon Europe" - the European Union's new Framework Program for Research and Innovation. Funding is available for researchers from all disciplines. The decisive evaluation criterion is the scientific excellence of the submitted research project and the applicant.

The subject of this event will be the opportunities and requirements for submitting an application for the ERC Starting or ERC Consolidator Grant. The European Liaison Office of the German Research Organisations (KoWi) will provide an overview of the program and submission requirements. Additionally, two successful applicants and mentors of the UDE ERC Mentoring Program will share their experiences and provide helpful insights and tips for the application process.
