In conjunction with TUV SUD, Johnson & Johnson and Medtronic are proposing a 3-day industry exchange focused on understanding the impact to materials from alternative modality sterilization processes, sterilization and measurement equipment limitations and regulatory needs in supporting large volume processing. The goal of the industry exchange is to create an industry roadmap for accelerating the regulatory approval, implementation and scale up of alternative / novel sterilization modalities, the impact to products and packages and the ability to standardize impact assessments, required testing data and documentation for submission approval.
