Format:
On-Site Workshop
What is it about?
Research data can quickly become difficult to manage if files, folders, and documentation are not organized from the start. In this interactive, hands-on workshop, you will learn practical strategies to keep your research data understandable, well-structured, and reusable throughout your project.
Using realistic case studies, you will work in small groups to organize datasets, develop meaningful file naming conventions and folder structures, create documentation such as README files and data descriptions, and explore the role of metadata in making research data findable and reusable. Along the way, we will discuss common pitfalls and best practices that support good research data management.
By the end of the workshop, you will have a practical understanding of how good data organization and documentation can save time, improve collaboration, and support reproducible research.
Limited spots! To enable interactive group work and individual feedback, the number of participants is limited. Please sign up below.
