With the Innovation Grants, the University of Tübingen provides targeted funding for application-oriented projects that have been developed as part of doctoral research. Over the course of the funding period, these projects must be transformed into viable processes, services, or products. While Innovation Grants in the natural and life sciences focus on commercial exploitation, projects from the humanities and social sciences also aim at the transfer of knowledge to society. The open ideas competition “InnoSparks” is open to all members of the university. All ideas are evaluated by the Industry Liaison Office, and participants are supported in implementing their ideas. This programme does not provide financial support.
