How to Cope with Racism in Everyday Life
This workshop provides a safe and supportive space to explore and address challenges related to racism. Project Manager Nesreen Schmidt will also deliver a brief talk on her personal experiences with racism and how she navigates these challenges in her daily life in the city of Gera.
Our project, AntiRaktiv – Active Against (Everyday) Racism!, is the first certified regional anti-racism initiative in Eastern Germany, developed from migrant perspectives and structures.
AntiRaktiv offers, among other services, community-based counseling for individuals affected by racism, provided by qualified counselors who have experienced racism themselves. We create safe spaces and offer support for those in need.
We look forward to welcoming you to our workshop!
