Our goal at the ZBW is to establish and sustainably promote Diamant Open Access as an innovative publication model in economics. ‘OLEcon Konsort’ is a pioneering financing model to support science-led Open Access journals in economic research.
The pledging phase starts on 9 September during which you as an academic library have the opportunity to register and become part of the consortium in order to financially support the OLEcon journals. This financial support will make it possible for four economics journals to be published in Diamond Open Access in 2025.
Our information events on 13 and 25 September 2024 offer you the opportunity to find out more about OLEcon and the journals involved. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, especially about the pledging process.
The ‘OLEcon Konsort’ project is an integral part of Open Library Economics (OLEcon) and is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). It will run for three years and has the clear objective of establishing sustainable consortial funding for Diamant Open Access.
