Rissige Erde, weit und breit kein Grashalm: Das Nomadenleben wird im marokkanischen Atlasgebirge zunehmend unmöglich. Für die Kinder ist Bildung der einzige Ausweg aus der Misere. Doch nicht alle Eltern sehen das so. Eine Dokumentation über existenzielle Hindernisse und den unbedingten Willen der Kinder zur Schule zu gehen.

In Kooperation mit Human Rights Film Festival Berlin & Berghof Foundation.

Das Filmgespräch findet in englischer Sprache statt.

Filmgespräch: Die Auswirkungen des Klimawandels werden spürbarer und bedrohen zunehmend das Leben der Kinder vor Ort und ihr Recht auf Entwicklung, Gesundheit und Bildung. Es wäre höchste Zeit zu handeln! Eine Diskussion an der Schnittstelle zwischen Menschenrechten und Klimawandel.

Cracked earth, not a blade of grass for miles: nomadic life is becoming increasingly impossible in Morocco's Atlas Mountains. For the children, education is the only way out of their situation. But not all parents see it that way. A documentary about existential obstacles and the children's unconditional will to go to school.
