Registration for the Summer School 2025
Our this year's Summer School is a great opportunity to broaden your horizons about different topics in the field of mobility and transport. Together with students from other international colleges and universities we will visit Europe's largest railroad construction site Stuttgart 21, the new Stuttgart Central Station and other transportation infrastructures. The program includes excursions to Stuttgart, the surrounding areas and Lake Constance. International teams of Summer School guests work with students from the Master's program in Transportation Infrastructure Management on small projects that will be presented at the end of the Summer School.
Period: 25.04.-03.05.2025 (excl. arrival and departure)
Duration: 9 days (excl. arrival and departure)
Costs: You bear the costs for travel, accommodation and meals. Travel and accommodation have to be organized by yourself. The cost of the Summer School is 200 euros per participant. A limited number of free places will be made available.
Who can participate: Students in a degree program related to mobility and transportation. Programme language is English.
Program:
- Friday, 25.04.25: Arrival at HFT Stuttgart
- Saturday, 26.04.25: Visit to the iMobility trade fair at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre and tour of Stuttgart airport and mobility hub
- Sunday, 27.04.25: Excursion to Munich
- Monday, 28.04.25: Introduction to traffic simulation, joint workshop with students from HFT Stuttgart
- Tuesday, 29.04.25: Joint workshop with students from HFT Stuttgart, excursion to the VfB Stuttgart stadium
- Wednesday, 30.04.25: Excursion to Lake Constance
- Thursday, 01.05.25: Excursion to the TV-Tower and Mercedes-Benz-Museum
- Friday, 02.05.25: Field trip to Stuttgart 21, Finishing off at the Stuttgart Spring Festival
- Saturday, 03.05.25: Social event and departure
The exact programme may be subject to change depending on the availability of activities.
