Die Objekte und Orte der Industriekultur stehen für Innovation und Erfindergeist – aber auch für ein Zeitalter, in dem Aspekte wie Ressourcensparsamkeit, Ökologie und soziale Fairness lange hinter entgegengesetzten Zielen und Werten zurückstanden. Das ist Ansporn, sich im Bereich der Industriekultur mit den Themen Nachhaltigkeit, Klimaschutz und Kreislaufwirtschaft auseinanderzusetzen. Wie können Orte der Industriekultur zur Wiege eines neuen Zeitalters des Wirtschaftens und Produzierens werden? Wie werden sie im besten Fall Leuchttürme für aktiven Klimaschutz und Nachhaltigkeit? Mit dem Neunten Berliner Forum für Industriekultur und Gesellschaft wollen wir Erfahrungen austauschen, Anregungen geben und die Arbeit von Pionier:innen würdigen.

Das Forum findet dieses Jahr hybrid statt. Vor Ort an der HTW Berlin, Campus Wilhelminenhof, ist aufgrund der aktuellen Pandemielage die Teilnahme auf die Referent:innen sowie geladenen Gäste limitiert. Wir freuen uns, alle weiteren Gäste via Zoom beim Forum begrüßen zu dürfen. Dank unserer Kooperation mit ERIH (European Route of Industrial Heritage) können wir unseren Online-Gästen eine englische Simultanübersetzung von Vorträgen und Diskussionen anbieten.

Am Samstag bieten wir eine Exkursion zu Standorten der Berliner Industriekultur an, die sich das Thema Nachhaltigkeit auf die Fahnen geschrieben haben. Dazu gehören beispielsweise die Malzfabrik, die ufaFabrik und das Ökowerk.

The objects and sites of industrial heritage stand for innovation and inventiveness, but also for an era in which aspects such as the conservation of resources, ecology and social fairness have long taken a back seat to completely opposite goals and values. This is an incentive to deal with the issues of sustainability, climate protection and the circular economy in the field of industrial heritage. How can the places become the cradles of a new age of industrial heritage in the sense of the original innovative energies? How can they become beacons for active climate protection and sustainability? The Ninth Forum aims to exchange experiences and suggestions, an appreciation of the work of pioneers and the establishment of new networks in the region and beyond.

The Forum will take place hybrid this year. On-site at HTW Berlin, Wilhelminenhof campus, and online via Zoom. Due to the current pandemic, participation is limited to speakers and invited guests. Thanks to our cooperation with ERIH (The European Route of Industrial Heritage), we are able to offer our online guests simultaneous English translation of lectures and discussions.

On Saturday, we offer an excursion. The guided bus tour will lead to sustainable industrial heritage projects such as Malzfabrik, ufa Fabrik and Ökowerk. The tour will be in German.

Das Forum findet am 26. November 2021 als Hybridkonferenz an der HTW Berlin, Campus Wilhelminenhof, statt und digital via Zoom. Online-Gäste erhalten die Zugangsdaten zur Veranstaltung einige Tage vorher per E-Mail.

Die Konferenzsprache vor Ort ist Deutsch. Dank unserer Kooperation mit ERIH (European Route of Industrial Heritage) können wir unseren Online-Gästen eine englische Simultanübersetzung von Vorträgen und Diskussionen anbieten.

Die Exkursion am 27. November 2021 startet um 10 Uhr an der Markthalle Neun in Kreuzberg (Zustieg wahlweise um 9:30 am Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten). Die Tour endet um ca. 17 Uhr am Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten. Alle genauen Informationen erhalten Sie eine Woche vorher per E-Mail.

Die Plattform wird von der HTW mit den höchsten Sicherheitseinstellungen konfiguriert, die Meetingeinstellung wurden von uns mit höchster Sorgfalt vorgenommen. Sie erhalten einige Tage vor der Veranstaltung die Zugangsdaten zum digitalen Konferenzraum.
