You will understand the principles, apply them instantly to communicate your own research messages and you will be able to give and receive feedback on your own figures. We will comprehensively cover all aspects of science communication that is visual. The webinar is interactive and adapted to the audiences' research topics.

Prerequisites:
The webinar will be held via Zoom. You will need a laptop and a stable internet connection.
Feedback on your visual materials: ahead of the webinar, you submit your scientific figures, and I prepare a relevant selection of visuals to discuss. You will receive suggestions on how to improve yours from the presenter and peers.
About the trainer
Jernej Zupanc (Seyens.com) has worked with nearly 3000 researchers in 19 countries. In addition to training, he consults companies on European grants, having helped over 20 clients receive over €10 million in public and private funding.
Before Seyens, Jernej worked at a startup as Head of Computer Vision and as an Evaluator of Horizon 2020 projects. He did his doctorate and was a postdoc in computer science at University of Ljubljana and a Fulbright Scholar at the Northeastern University, Boston.
