Workshop: Transient Dynamics, Theory and Applications
March 2nd to 4th, 2026
Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), Germany

We warmly invite you to participate in a workshop on Transient Dynamics: Theory and Applications lasting two-and-a-half days. The workshop is primarily aimed at early-career researchers, but researchers at all career stages are welcome to attend.

The workshop will focus on transient dynamics across a broad spectrum: ranging from fundamental theory and concepts to applications in fields such as neuroscience, climate science, and ecology. Our goal is to create an open and collaborative environment that fosters discussion and interaction among early-career scientists while exploring future directions for the field.

Logistics and Funding: Please note that our budget for travel and accommodation is limited. We kindly encourage participants to utilize funding from their home institutions wherever possible to support their attendance.

Registration Deadline: February 23rd, 2026

Please find all information on the workshop here.

We look forward to welcoming you to Potsdam!
