Group Coaching for PhDs on the topic ,,Imposter Feelings and Inner Critic"
Throughout their PhD journeys, many students encounter a pervasive sense of inadequacy within their scientific community, harboring feelings of unworthiness and fearing the imminent exposure of their perceived lack of expertise—a phenomenon commonly known as 'imposter syndrome.' It is often fed by a very strong inner critic and a drive towards perfectionism. If this reality adjustment does not take place, young researchers have a high probability of dropping out of their doctoral journey.
This group coaching aims to deal with imposter feelings, to create the awareness around it and to build the coping strategies while benefiting from the group process.
The group coaching programme includes:
- 3 x 2,5h group coaching sessions.
- Experimentation time between the sessions, allowing participants to apply their insights and learning, as well as reflect on their progress.
- Peer group sessions: PhD-students can share experiences, offer support, and combat the sense of isolation.
- Optional individual coaching at a special rate of 100€/hour, tailored to your specific needs.
