Cybersecurity for medical devices

The number of connected medical devices, use of telemedicine and the development of health apps are all growing. As a result, global regulatory bodies in the field of medical devices are increasingly aware of the need for cybersecurity to protect the data and safety of patients who use connected products and services. This webinar focuses on the importance of cybersecurity in the medical device industry and gives an overview of the various international regulations, laws and standards in the field of cybersecurity. It will also provide insights into the key cybersecurity requirements that manufacturers must fulfil to place products on the market that are both cybersafe and secure. The webinar discusses the importance of testing and the requirements imposed by the MDR and FDA, and addresses the question of how TÜV SÜD’s cybersecurity lab can support manufacturers with their testing needs.
