What Does Social Mobility Mean to You?
Learn more about this topic at a panel discussion hosted by the
British Embassy Berlin!
Being socially mobile changes everything. Your career prospects. The world you navigate. The way we look at our society…
But which factors drive social mobility? What makes it difficult to achieve? What can politicians, businesses, the education sector and all of us do to create a more inclusive society?
The Social Mobility Group of the British Embassy would like to discuss this with a panel of experts and with you!
Join us on 10 November 2025 to listen to our panel and engage with them in a Q&A.
The panellists are:
- Prof. Dr. Michaela Kreyenfeld, Hertie School Berlin
- Prof. Dr. Markus Promberger, Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen
- Prof. Dr. Jan Paul Heisig, Free University Berlin
You are also welcome to stay for the networking reception. There, you can chat with members of the British Embassy and with Catrin Stibbe from the Auswärtiges Amt, who will be available for questions about career paths in her organisation. Snacks and drinks are on us!
