Dear alumni & alumnae, dear former and current members of the Center for Conflict Studies,

20 cohorts, 25 years of the Center, over 500 people – and it’s high time we met up again!

On 23 and 24 October 2026, the Center for Conflict Studies will hold its first major alumni/alumnae reunion in Marburg. Two days for discussion, catching up with old faces, sharing new ideas – and asking the question: “Oh FuK – what do we do now?” How do we, as former peace and conflict researchers, view the world today? And, of course: what are you all up to these days? Whether you’re working in the field, in academia, in politics or have long since moved on to other things – we want to hear from you!

Attached you’ll find the official invitation, including the provisional programme. To help us refine our plans further, please confirm your attendance by 1st of September and let us know if you have any suggestions for topics for Saturday afternoon.

We look forward to seeing you, hearing your stories, your questions and your ideas – and to a big first alumni/alumnae reunion in October!
