The Goal

The goal of this program is to promote studying abroad both while abroad and here in Mannheim. You can do this on social media or in person while abroad, in person after you return to Mannheim or in any combination of these possibilities.

The Reward

All participants will be rewarded with a certificate upon completion. This can be used, for example, to show on a CV that you not only spent time abroad, but also actively helped others understand the benefits of this type of experience. Proof for a minimum of 2 activities must be submitted in order to receive a certificate.

Further Bonus

Those who intend to be particularly active as ambassadors while abroad have the opportunity to get a free University of Mannheim t-shirt to wear while actively promoting Mannheim as a great place to study abroad. If interested, we ask you to take a look at your host university's calendar for this year and past events and possibly even check with the international office about ways to get involved and let us know what you will be doing through the application form. There are a limited number of t-shirts available and, if needed, we will choose the recipients based on how actively the applicant intends to be an ambassador.

Deadlines:

You are welcome to become an ambassador any time you are still enrolled at the University of Mannheim. If you would like a t-shirt, you must sign up through this form by 20 June, 2026.

These may also be used for the photo contest. other
