Was kann man nicht sehen und ist trotzdem da? Was ist winzig klein, ganz weit weg und trotzdem wichtig für uns? Wie versuchen Forscher:innen, das Unsichtbare sichtbar zu machen?
Bei den Science Notes geht es um Sterne und Biodiversität, digitale Zwischenwelten und künstliche Intelligenz. Seit 2013 bringt dieses Format Wissenschaftsthemen auf die Bühnen von Clubs, Konzertsälen und Festivals. In je 15 Minuten geben Wissenschaftler:innen, Autor:innen und Künstler:innen Einblicke in ihre Arbeit. Stimming untermalt diese besondere Performance mit seinem Field Recording Live-Set aus natürlichen Schall- und Klanglandschaften, die außerhalb des Tonstudios entstanden und handgemachten Sounds.

What can't be seen and is still there? What is extremely tiny or millions of miles away and still important for us? How do researchers try to learn about the invisible and make it seen?
The Science Notes will be about stars and biodiversity, digital worlds and artificial intelligence. In 15 minutes each, scientists, authors and artists tell us about their work and share insights in their projects. Hamburg-based music producer Stimming will play a Liveset, adding to the mixture his own unique, charismatic field recordings, where he never uses the same sample more than once.
The Science Notes project has been bringing science topics to the stages of clubs, concert halls and festivals throughout Germany since 2013.
