We are pleased to announce exciting talks and discussions at the first international Breakfast Conference
"Smart Cities and Resilient Infrastructures"
Future challenges of smart cities
Many cities around the world are facing major threats: Unplanned natural events such as tsunamis, earthquakes or floods, as well as targeted cyberattacks and the depletion of natural resources pose immense challenges to urban communities. Public institutions are particularly affected.
How can governments, public communities and urban decision-makers anticipate potential adverse events, take them into account and "prepare" for them?
What options and strategies are available to administrations, but also to individuals, to make future cities and their infrastructures "resilient"?
Have we sparked your interest?
Take the opportunity and discuss your research project and/or your organization with experts from Baden-Württemberg and the USA.
