Experience LADS OPC UA live
Attend this hackathon where we will be bringing together researchers, coders, and developers to take on novel challenges in the spirit of cooperation. You will receive:
- Exemplary modelling of Laboratory and Analytical devices applying the principles of LADS 1.0
- Exemplary walkthrough of a toolchain to create a LADS OPC UA server
- Hands on understanding of modelling a device with LADS OPC UA
- Direct demonstration with a state-of-the-art toolchain that can serve as a blueprint for introduction for your company/organization

What is the best way to get to us?
By car:
Note for the use of navigation systems: Select the Rheinhausen or Friemersheim district (zip code 47229).
From Essen, Oberhausen, Cologne via the A 40 towards Venlo, exit at the Duisburg-Homberg junction in the direction of Rheinhausen. In Rheinhausen, follow Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, cross the railroad bridge to the next set of traffic lights (Bismarckstraße/Gaterweg) and continue straight on into Gaterweg and thus into the Logport site (under a bridge). Go straight on at the first traffic circle and turn right at the second traffic circle (Bliersheimer Straße). You will find IUTA after 200 m on the left-hand side.
From the Düsseldorf or Cologne airports, take the A 57 to the Krefeld-Gartenstadt junction (exit no. 12) and drive in the direction of Duisburg. Follow the B 509 (signposts: Duisburg, Zentrum, Rheinhausen, Logport) to its end after approx. 7.4 km. Turn left at the traffic lights, cross the railroad bridge and drive straight on into the Logport site (under a bridge). Go straight on at the first traffic circle and turn right at the second traffic circle (Bliersheimer Straße). You will find IUTA after 200 m on the left-hand side. It is approx. 6 - 10 km from the highways to IUTA, which takes approx. 10 minutes.
By public transportation:
The bus stop "Duisburg Logport Center" is approx. 200 m away from IUTA (intersection Bliersheimer Straße/Gaterweg). Bus route 925 runs from Rheinhausen station ("Rheinhausen Bf/Kaiserstraße") on weekdays every 60 minutes in the direction of IUTA, get off at the "Duisburg Logport Center" stop.

Walking:
From Rheinhausen station: Cross the station forecourt, walk into Walther-Rathenau-Straße to Walther-Rathenau-Platz, continue to Bismarckstraße. There turn left to the corner of Friedrich-Ebert-Straße/Gaterweg. Follow Gaterweg into the Logport site. At the first traffic circle continue straight ahead, at the second traffic circle turn right to IUTA. The walk takes about half an hour (approx. 2 km).
