SMSC Lausanne March 2025 "Intensive care medicine : critical care, vital solutions"

The Swiss Medical Students' Convention (SMSC) is an event organized each semester by the Swiss Medical Students’ Association (swimsa) in collaboration with a group of students from the hosting university. From March 28th-30th, 2025, the SMSC will take place in Lausanne. This three-day conference will bring together approximately 400 medical students from across Switzerland for an interactive and educational weekend.

Under this edition's theme, "Intensive Care Medicine: Critical Care, Vital Solutions," we will explore the field of intensive care medicine and its ongoing developments. From managing life-threatening emergencies to technological advancements in critical care, SMSC Lausanne 2025 will present key innovations and challenges in this specialty. Through lectures, interactive workshops, and discussions, participants will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of critical patient care and the solutions shaping intensive care medicine.
