Bärenhau 2026

We will meet at the 8th of August for the third Bärenhau tournament. We would like to welcome everyone to this DDHF tournament in the north-east of Berlin. We will gather at around 10 am at the Picasso-Grundschule in Berlin Weißensee.

Tickets are available starting 15th of May 1st of June 6 PM German Time!

Tournament starts at 11am! The sports hall is well climated.

We will offer two tournament types: Longsword Open and Longsword Women+ for 45€ each.

Some snacks and drinks will be offered to all tournament participants!

As the venue is large enough we will also have some space for an open hall / some sparring, chatting and even reading some sources.

Please refer to the DDHF ruleset. This will be the basis of the tournament and make sure you're equipped accordingly!

The Bolognese rule set will be applied with minor variations:
● Video evidence is only permitted in the elimination rounds and must be provided by the fencers themselves.

● Only in the elimination rounds must there be a difference in unharmed points; otherwise, the number of bouts in the encounter is increased by one.

● In the pool phases, five bouts are fought per encounter.

● In the elimination rounds, seven bouts are fought per encounter.
