Registration has ended

Dear ISIMIP and PROCLIAS community,

we kindly invite you to register for the online cross-sectoral ISIMIP and PROCLIAS Workshop from 11 to 15 January 2021. Overall experiences from first online workshop in summer and your feedback was highly encouraging to tackle the challenges again that come along with the online-only format. We learned a lot from the summer workshop and we will give our best to schedule an agenda accounting for all time zones included, without asking you for detailed information on your session preferences and location again. A tentative agenda will be available on the ISIMIP website.

Workshop cornerstones:

  • Latest ISIMIP modeling results: there will be a dedicated session on the latest ISIMIP modeling results, as well as ongoing paper ideas,
  • ISIMIP climate forcing data: we will present the currently available data and discuss possibilities of improving them,
  • ISIMIP3 socioeconomic forcing data: we will continue discussing the development of ISIMIP3b group III socioeconomic forcing data and the adaptation runs.
  • Cross-sectoral discussions on water quality and data harmonization, as well as on linking the Biomes, Fire and Permafrost sectors following up on the workshop in summer 2020.
  • Stay tuned for distinguished keynotes soon to be announced.
  • Of course, we will have plenty of time for further discussions within sectoral sessions, and we will also accommodate social break-out groups.
  • kick-off of  the newly started COST Action PROCLIAS including dedicated sessions to plan working group activities

We will publish the final agenda publicly on the ISIMIP website and will send you a detailed agenda including all zoom links timely. Please register until 20 December 2020 to make sure you don’t miss any crucial information.

We hope you are all staying healthy and safe and are looking forward to meeting you online.
