Welcome to the Registration
The Institute for Security Policy at Kiel University (ISPK) hosts the Kiel International Seapower Symposium (KISS), an event that addresses current and future maritime security challenges. KISS discusses their potential geostrategic, political, legal, military, economic or technological impacts with representatives from military, academia, government and industry.
KISS23 will focus on the German Navy, its allies & the Zeitenwende in international affairs.
Before you finish your registration, we would first like to give you some administrational details regarding your accomodation and transportation.
Please note that the Kiel International Seapower Symposium takes place right before Kiel Week, the largest sailing event in the world. We therefore recommend that you make your travel and accommodation arrangements timely.

Transportation

Transportation
Please note that the Kiel International Seapower Symposium takes place right before Kiel Week, the largest sailing event in the world. We therefore recommend that you make your travel and accommodation arrangements timely.
Transfer from and to Hamburg takes approximately 1 ½ hours. Please book your flights accordingly.
From Hamburg Airport (HAM)
Conference Attendees will be required to make their own travel arrangements from/to Kiel. Transportation from Hamburg Airport (HAM) to Kiel is available via Bus (KIELIUS; Phone: +49 (0) 431 666 222).
From Hamburg Central Station (Hamburg Hbf)
Trains regluarly depart from Hamburg Central Station for Kiel Central Station. To book a train ticket, please visit the website of Deutsche Bahn or call the service hotline +49 (0) 180 699 66 33.
From Hamburg Central Bus Station (ZOB Hamburg)
Intercity coaches (FLIXBUS) operate on a regular schedule between Hamburg Central Bus Station and Kiel interim Central Bus Station.
Ferry Services
Ferries from Oslo and Gothenburg head for Kiel once a day. To make a reservation please visit the respective websites: Colorline (OSLO - KIEL); Stenaline (GOTHENBURG - KIEL). Moreover, a passenger ferry services KLAIPEDA - KIEL on a daily basis: DFDS.
