Gastprofessor an der KSH im Wintersemester 24/25 von der University of Western Australia (UWA)
Stephan Lund, Professor and Head of Social Work and Social Policy at The University of Western Australia in Perth, will be presenting about his social work practice and academic experience over 25 years in family, youth and children’s services. Stephan will give an overview of the social, health and welfare system in Australia particularly focussing on the impact of colonisation and Euro-centric systems on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Australia. The starting point will be how Stephan’s experience as a taxi driver in Perth was his ‘social work apprenticeship’ and prepared him to work in a trauma and culturally informed way.
Der Vortrag ist auf Englisch. Prof. Stephan Lund spricht und versteht aber gut Deutsch, sodass Fragen auch im Anschluss auf Deutsch gestellt werden dürfen.
