Deggendorfer Gründungspreis
Auch in diesem Jahr wird wieder der Deggendorfer Gründungspreis von ITC1 und TH Deggendorf an Top-Gründerinnen / -Gründer verliehen. Bewerben können sich Einzelgründerinnen /-gründer oder Gründungsteams in den Kategorien "nicht gegründet" und "gegründet". Außerdem wird unter allen Bewerbungen auch wieder ein „Sonderpreis Social Entrepreneurship“ verliehen.
Wer kann sich bewerben?
Der Wettbewerb ist offen für alle Gründerinnen / Gründer, Teams oder Einzelpersonen, die eine innovative, nachhaltige und/oder soziale Geschäftsidee haben.
Es gibt keine regionale Einschränkung und es wird keine Hochschulzugehörigkeit verlangt.
Es gibt keine Brancheneinschränkung, somit kann jedes Thema eingereicht werden, von Handwerk, Dienstleistung, Sozial- und Gesundheitswesen, Gastronomie, Industrie, Technik, Handel, Digitalisierung, Forschung (Forschungsprojekte mit Ausgründungspotenzial) bis hin zu freien Berufen.
Für welche Kategorie soll ich mich bewerben?
Nicht gegründet
Ihr befindet euch in der Konzeptphase/Vorgründung: Für studentische Teams, Ideenträgerinnen/Ideenträger und Gründungsinteressierte, die noch nicht gegründet haben und kein Gewerbe angemeldet haben.
Gegründet
StartUps und Gründerinnen/Gründer, die nicht älter als 5 Jahre seit der Gründung oder Aufnahme der wirtschaftlichen Tätigkeit sind (z.B. Gewerbeanmeldung).
Des Weiteren loben wir den „Sonderpreis Social Entrepreneurship“ aus.
Unter den vollständig eingereichten Bewerbungen beider Kategorien, loben wir einen Sonderpreis aus, für Ideenträgerinnen / - träger und StartUps, die mit ihrem Konzept gesellschaftlichen, ökologischen oder regionalen Mehrwert schaffen. D.h. Welches gesellschaftliche Problem löst ihr und wie ist das in eurem Geschäftsmodell verankert? Was sind eure Wirkungsziele und wie werden sie gemessen? Füllt die Frage nach der gesellschaftlichen Wirkung im Bewerbungsformular aus und kommt somit zusätzlich in die Auswahl um den Sonderpreis.
Was muss ich einreichen?
Eine Bewerbung zur Teilnahme am Gründungspreis in Deggendorf muss folgende Unterlagen enthalten:
- Online-Formular vollständig ausgefüllt (siehe unten)
- Kurzvideo (max. 3 Min.) in dem ihr auf die abgefragten Inhalte je Kategorie eingeht
- Bei Bewerbung in der Kategorie "gegründet": Zusätzlich ein Fact Sheet (max. 2 Seiten, PDF) mit Zahlen, Daten und Fakten rund um eure Gründung.
Im Kurzvideo werden folgende Inhalte in der jeweiligen Kategorie erwartet:

Bis wann kann ich mich bewerben?
Die Bewerbungsunterlagen müssen bis spätestens 25. Oktober 2026, 24:00 Uhr eingereicht werden. Spätere Einreichungen können im Wettbewerb nicht mehr berücksichtigt werden.
Wann erfahre ich, ob ich im Finale bin?
Die Finalistinnen / Finalisten in beiden Kategorien werden bis zum 30. Oktober 2026 benachrichtigt und erhalten einen exklusiven Termin für ein individuelles Bühnen- und Pitch-Coaching.
Was passiert im Finale beim Gründungstag am 18.11.2026?
Die besten Einreichungen aus beiden Kategorien dürfen beim 11. Gründungstag in Deggendorf am Mittwoch, 18.11.2026 im Kapuzinerstadl auf der großen Bühne pitchen. Genauere Infos zum Pitch und Termine für das Coaching erhalten die Finalistinnen / Finalisten in der Benachrichtigungs-Mail bis 30. Oktober.
Nach allen Pitches in der jeweiligen Kategorie stimmt das Publikum live über ihre Favoriten ab - also bringt eure Fans mit!
Die Sieger je Kategorie erhalten 2.500 €, eine Urkunde und die Trophäe Deggendorfer Gründungspreis.
Der Sonderpreis Social Entrepreneurship ist ebenfalls mit 2.500 € dotiert und wird von der Jury auf Basis der Bewerbungsunterlagen unter den Finalistinnen/ Finalisten vergeben. Die Gewinnerin bzw. der Gewinner wird beim Gründungstag bekannt gegeben und darf live vor dem Publikum pitchen. .

Deggendorf Founders Award
This year, the Deggendorf Start-up Award, presented by ITC1 and Deggendorf Institute of Technology, will once again recognize outstanding entrepreneurs and founding teams. Applications are open to individual founders and start-up teams in the categories "Pre-Start-up" (not yet established) and "Start-up" (already established). In addition, a Special Award for Social Entrepreneurship will be presented to one of the applicants.
Who can apply?
The competition is open to all founders, founding teams, or individuals with an innovative, sustainable, and/or socially impactful business idea.
There are no regional restrictions and no university affiliation is required.
There are no industry restrictions – entries can come from any field, including crafts, services, social and healthcare, gastronomy, industry, technology, trade, digitalisation, research (research projects with spin-off potential), and the liberal professions.
Which category should I apply for?
Not Yet Founded
You are in the concept/pre-foundation phase: For student teams, idea holders, and aspiring entrepreneurs who have not yet founded a company and have not registered a business.
Founded
Start-ups and founders whose business was registered or economic activity commenced no more than 5 years ago (e.g. trade/business registration).
In addition to the two main categories, we are awarding a Social Entrepreneurship Award for idea holders and start-ups whose concepts create social, ecological, or regional added value. In other words, what societal challenge are you solving, and how is it embedded in your business model? What are your impact goals, and how are they measured? Fill in the question about social impact in the application form and you will also be considered for the special award.
What do I need to submit?
An application for the Deggendorf Founders Award must include:
Fully completed online form (see below)
Short video (max. 3 min) addressing the requested content for your category
If applying in the "Founded" category: additionally, a Fact Sheet (max. 2 pages, PDF) with key figures, facts, and data about your company.

What is the application deadline?
Application documents must be submitted by midnight on October 25, 2026, at the latest. Late submissions will not be considered in the competition.
When will I find out if I am a finalist?
Finalists in both categories will be notified until October 30, 2026 and will receive an exclusive appointment for individual stage and pitch coaching.
What happens in the final on Founders Day on Wednesday, November 18, 2026?
The best entries from both categories will have the chance to pitch on the big stage at the 10th Founders Day in Deggendorf on Wednesday, November 18, 2026 at Kapuzinerstadl. Detailed information about the pitch and coaching dates will be sent to the finalists in the notification email on October 30.
After all pitches in each category, the audience will vote live for their favorites — so bring your fans along!
The winners in each category will receive €2,500, a certificate and the Deggendorf Founders Award trophy.
The Social Entrepreneurship Award, also endowed with €2,500, will be selected by the jury based on the application documents among the finalists. The winner will be announced on Founders Day and will have the opportunity to pitch live in front of the audience.
