We invite you to go beyond - beyond the limitations of traditional industrial automation, beyond established approaches and beyond today's technological constraints.

The "Beyond Safety. Forum@SICK" in 2024. will take you on a journey to tomorrows collaborative robotics and machinery, holistic approaches and challenges on the way to the future.

The Forum is a platform for you. It brings together users and experts from industrial practice with researchers and thought leaders. Focus talks of distinguished speakers will stimulate the discussion and open exchange.

In 2022 we started with this Forum as the successor of the Forum Functional Safety@SICK. After two successful editions, the third Forum will now take place on 4th December 2024 and is open to everyone interested in the future of safe industrial automation.

Train
From Freiburg Central Station (Breisgau - Hbf) take the S-Bahn to Elzach and get off at the station in Waldkirch-Buchholz. After a 5 min walk you reach the SIA Campus.

Car
Please note: There’s a very limited number of parking lots in the SIA Campus underground garage. Prior reservation is requested.

The fastest way to get to SIA Campus is to follow the A5 from Karlsruhe or Basel. Leave the freeway at the exit 61 Freiburg-Nord, take the B294 in direction Waldkirch until you reach exit Waldkirch-Buchholz. Turn right after the exit in direction Buchholz. Drive along the country road to Buchholz. At the first intersection in Buchholz turn right into Schwarzwaldstraße. You will reach the SIA Campus after about 100m.
