Free Online Workshop: Building resilience and handling stress

You know the feeling when everything is just a bit too much? Everyone wants something from you. Your colleagues, family and friends all have their own expectations of you, and on top of that, you have your own expectations of yourself. Chances are you’re feeling overwhelmed, and stress has become a normal part of life. But that doesn’t mean it has to take over our nervous system.

While we don’t have a magic solution to make all your stress go away, we can help you better understand what stress actually is, so that you can deal with it more effectively.

Join us on Zoom for a free workshop on building resilience and handling stress. Over 90 minutes we will:

  • Share about the physiology behind stress cycles and learn strategies to deal with stress in a healthier way

  • Identify your own stressors and warning signs, and explore tools to end your stress cycle and build your own resilience toolbox

  • Acknowledge systemic influences and discover ways to move towards a regenerative ecosystem approach

This workshop will be facilitated by Unity Effect team member Johannes.

We look forward to exploring, reflecting and learning together with you!

Please note: The workshop times are in Central European Time (UTC +1). Our workshops are designed to be a space for exchange. We will not record, but you will receive our slides afterwards. We will exclude any AI tools for meeting notes (Otters, Fireflies, …) to enable open dialogue.

Our workshops are free. Yet if you would like to contribute, we invite you to make a donation instead. You can choose an organisation you trust, or we are happy to recommend one. This month we want to support the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN). GIJN serves as the global hub for the world’s investigative reporters. Our core mission is to support and strengthen investigative journalism—with special attention to those from repressive regimes and marginalized communities.
