Drones Meet AI

The Spring Hackathon 2026 is a 2-week intensive Master-level course organized by the TUM Precision Agriculture Lab, bringing together students and early-career researchers to tackle real-world challenges at the intersection of drone-based remote sensing and artificial intelligence.

Participants will work in interdisciplinary teams on a shared challenge, using UAV imagery and AI methods to extract meaningful insights for agricultural and environmental applications. The program combines hands-on coding sessions, team-based problem solving, and expert mentoring from researchers in remote sensing, agronomy, and AI.

The course concludes with a final challenge presentation, where teams will present their solutions.

🏆 One team will be selected as the winner of the hackathon challenge.
