Invitation

We are pleased to invite you to the ETUG 2025 conference, which will take place in Vienna on Wednesday, 24th September and Thursday, 25th September, 2025. The conference will be held at The Hoxton Vienna, located close to Vienna’s Stadtpark. This is very conveniently located for Wien Mitte (trains to the airport) and Wien Hauptbahnhof, and in easy walking distance from Vienna’s historical city centre.

The conference participation fee (early bird, available until June 20) for this two-day conference is €360 for members and €460 for associates (no VAT applies due to ETUG’s status as an association under Austrian law). The fee covers coffee breaks, buffet lunch and soft beverages during the conference. To make the registration process easier, and to keep the costs down, we have decided not to offer single day tickets, as nearly all participants attended both days of past ETUG conferences.

The conference brings together a stimulating blend of hot news, tips and tricks, and networking opportunities with other power users of Trados products. Additionally, members of the RWS Team will be present to answer questions, discuss topics, present product roadmaps, etc.

The preliminary conference agenda will be published in Spring 2025.

Conference Registration

Registration for ETUG 2025 is handled via the eveeno platform (scroll down for the registration link or go to "Registration" on the website menu).

The platform will issue an invoice with the amount to be settled by bank transfer to ETUG’s bank account. Alternatively, you can pay via PayPal. Other forms of payment are not possible. Early registration is greatly appreciated as it helps ETUG to make a down payment for covering 80 % of the conference costs 90 days prior to the conference. ETUG has been established as an Austrian association (Verein) but relies on membership and conference registration fees to cover its running costs. In this regard, a General Assembly for members of the Association will also take place during the event.

Conference attendance is restricted to full and associate members of ETUG. Prospective members should apply for associate membership or full membership to attend. Hotel accommodation

We do not have a block booking for The Hoxton for the event, but will provide a list of nearby hotel recommendations through our website from March 2025.

Pre-conference programme - Tuesday, 23rd September, 2025

The pre-conference programme will be published in Spring 2025.

RWS Dinner - Wednesday, 24th September, 2025

RWS will sponsor the conference dinner to be held at the end of the first day of the conference. The dinner will begin at 7pm, with details about the location to follow in due course.

Please register your attendance at the dinner via the eveeno registration platform, and please indicate whether you will be paying for your own dinner to comply with your organisation’s internal compliance regulations.

Important information for foreign visitors to Austria

Please make sure you get an A1 certificate from your organisation for attending the ETUG conference, as Austrian authorities are known to conduct spot checks of business travellers to Austria.
