Registration Notes

Main Conference Contributions: At least one author must register for the conference by 2 June 2025 for the paper to be included in the program.

Workshop: At least one author must register for the conference by 24 july 2025 for the paper to be included in the program.

Posters and Demos: At least one author must register for the conference by 24 July 2025 for their contribution to be included in the program. (Please note: A “Workshops only” registration does not cover Poster and Demos.)


Important Notes:

One registration covers one accepted contribution. 

Every accepted paper for the main conference must be covered by a regular (non-student) registration.


What’s included in the Fees:

Conference & Workshops (Regular & Student): Access to the main conference and workshops (25–29 August 2025), daily lunches and coffee breaks, welcome reception and conference dinner.

Conference Only: Access to the main conference (27–29 August 2025), daily lunches and coffee breaks, welcome reception, and conference dinner.

Workshops Only: Access to workshops (25–26 August 2025), with lunches and coffee breaks provided on those days.

Requires valid proof of student status (e.g., student ID Card or a confirmation letter from the Head of Department/Doctoral School on institutional letterhead). Please send proof to: europar2025@tu-dresden.de

Please note: If you register Early Bird you will save about 15%. Early Bird registrations are only possible until 30 June 2025.

Registrations will be done online through www.eveeno.com. Participants may pay instantly using their credit card (VISA/MASTERCARD), or by bank transfer.


Registration

  • Registrations are only valid for the named person. They are not transferable.
  • All information should be typed in upper and lower case (for example William Fisher)
  • Registration and payment are linked.
  • You will receive automatic confirmations of registration and payment.
  • It is not possible to pay cash on site.


Cancellation Policy

  • To cancel your registration please contact europar2025@tu-dresden.de.
  • Refunds will be made if cancellation is requested before 15 August 2025.
  • Please notice: Cancellations received later will not be refunded.
  • A fee of 135€ will be charged for processing the cancellation.

The organisers of Euro-Par 2025 will not be liable for any personal injury or damage to property during the participation in Euro-Par 2025. Please take care of appropriate insurance yourself.


Note Regarding Photo and Video Recording

For public relations purposes of Euro-Par, CIDS/ ZIH and TU Dresden, photos and videos will be taken at the Euro-Par 2025. These photos and videos may be used for press releases, publications, on the websites of Euro-Par, CIDS/ ZIH and TU Dresden, on the social media channels of Euro-Par, CIDS/ ZIH and TU Dresden as well as for other digital (presentations) and print (flyers, brochures, posters, ...) purposes. Photos of the speakers might be shown in the program. 

You can contact the photographer on site to avoid being seen in photos and videos. There is also the option of picking up a sticker at the registration desk, which you can affix to your clothing so that it is clearly visible.


VISA Request

In case of requiring an invitation to attend the conference, please tick the appropriate tick box in the registration form. You will receive the invitation as soon as the payment has been received.

For what purpose will personal data be processed?

We process your data for organizational and implementation purposes. We also use this data to send you any announcements, programs and newsletters relevant to the event in advance. During the Euro-Par 2025, we will take photos for documentation purposes and for the public relations work of TU Dresden and ZIH/ CIDS.

What is the legal basis for the processing of personal data?

The legal basis for the processing of data for the aforementioned purposes is Art. 6 para. 1 and subpara. 1 letter a and, if applicable, Art. 9 para. 2 letter a GDPR (consent).

For recordings that allow for the identification of their location or the location of the event (e.g. wide shots), Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 lit. e in conjunction with. § 6 para. 3 GDPR in conjunction with §3 para. 1 Saxon Data Protection Implementation Act (SächsDSDG).

What personal data will be processed?

Only the data regarding your external characteristics, the environment and the content of the photos will be processed. In addition, the following personal data is processed for the registration and organization of the event:

  -         First and last name

-           Title

-           Place of work (e.g. name of the Institute or Chair)

-           Invoice address

-           Email address

-           Particular needs and dietary requirements

How will personal data be processed and how long will it be stored?

All the information collected for the organization and implementation of the event will be treated confidentially, stored on TU Dresden’s own servers and deleted within five working days once the Euro-Par 2025 has finished.

The photos taken at the event will appear in offline media (e.g. flyers, brochures, etc.), in digital media (e.g. presentations) and on the Internet (e.g. websites, social media, etc.). You will not be the focus of the photos, as only wide shots of the Euro-Par 2025 rooms and the speakers will be published. However, please do not hesitate to contact the photographer or us, should you have any objections. This is the only way we can protect your rights, prevent you from being photographed or delete a photo that has already been taken. The photos are stored for a period of five years. At the end of the fifth year, they will be deleted and will be no longer be publicly accessible via the named media. If you would like to arrange for the deletion of the photos yourself in advance, please send us a message directly. We will comply with the deletion request immediately.  

Will personal data be transferred to other parties?

An external contractee (IT service provider) is assigned to organize and run the event (registration, invoicing, payment transactions):

What general rights do data subjects have?

Voluntariness and withdrawal (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR)

The submission of personal data is voluntary. You can refuse or withdraw your consent at any time without stating a reason to the person responsible for the data. Your personal data will then not be processed further. However, you may not be able to participate in the event if you withdraw your consent or object (see below). The withdrawal shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing that took place before consent was withdrawn.

Right of access to personal data (Art. 15 GDPR)

You have the right to obtain information on the data processed concerning your person, as well as the potential recipients of this data, at any time. You are entitled to a reply within one month after the responsible party receives the request for information.

Right to rectification, erasure and restriction (Art. 16-18 GDPR)

You may request that TU Dresden correct or erase your personal data and/or restrict its processing at any time.

Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

You may request that the responsible party send you your personal data in a machine-readable form. Alternatively, you can request the direct transfer of your personal data to a different responsible party, insofar as this is possible.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data relating to you which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 letter e GDPR, at any time.

Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR)

You can contact TU Dresden's Data Protection Officer (see above) at any time and, in the case of a complaint pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, the supervisory authority for data protection.
