Which wall will your research break? As a preliminary round of the international Science Summit in Berlin, the so-called Falling Walls Labs are taking place worldwide - in addition to San Francisco, Cape Town, Myanmar, Dakar, Tel Aviv and many more, we are also putting Stuttgart on the map this year. On July 10, the Falling Walls Lab Baden-Württemberg 2024 will open its doors in the ARENA2036 at Campus Vaihingen.

We would like to invite all innovation and science enthusiasts and other interested members of universities, start-ups and industrial companies from Baden-Württemberg to take part in the Falling Walls Lab BW 2024. The Falling Walls Lab Baden-Württemberg offers you an exciting supporting program with insights into the latest developments and the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with like-minded people and those who think differently.

About the organizers:
As a partner of the Falling Walls Lab Baden-Württemberg network, we organize the Lab Baden-Württemberg at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research (ENI) - Project Elements4Founding (supported by Vector Stiftung) of the University of Stuttgart, together with the Wissensfabrik e. V., the University of Heidelberg, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), the University of Konstanz and the strategic research network HeiKa. After the Falling Walls Lab in Heidelberg (2022) and Karlsruhe (2023), this year we have the honor of welcoming innovation enthusiasts from all over Baden-Württemberg to Stuttgart.

Personal data, film and photo recordings:

All personal data provided by you will be processed exclusively for purposes directly related to the event and stored for no longer than the processing period. After processing, the data will be irretrievably deleted. Photographs and videos are taken during the event for documentation purposes. These are used for the purpose of reporting on the event and for public relations work for the projects and institutions involved in the event. Personal data, film and photo recordings are available to the named organizers and the Falling Walls Foundation. Film and photo recordings may be used for the purpose of publicizing the Institute on websites, in social media channels and in print publications.

The following recordings may be made and used during the event:

Recordings that reflect the character of the event (overview recordings). The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 3 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in conjunction with Section 12 para. 1 of the Baden-Württemberg State Higher Education Act. For other recordings, the person making the recordings will ask you for your consent; the basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. In the event that consent is not given for these recordings or consent is withdrawn, there will be no disadvantages.
