Contents:
This workshop will help you gain clarity on your unique skills and confidently highlight them in your application. You’ll also receive guidance on setting a fair salary expectation and preparing for salary negotiations—an important step in addressing inequalities like the gender pay gap.
In this workshop, theory meets practice: You’ll analyze a job posting, outline key points for a cover letter and résumé, learn strategies for answering common interview questions, and craft your own responses. The salary negotiation portion will focus on how to assess your market value, communicate your worth effectively, and negotiate with confidence.
Speaker
Julia Barden (www.juliabarden.com) is a psychologist with professional experience in the HR departments of large German companies, with a focus on recruiting, especially conducting interviews and assessment centers. She has been self-employed for five years and supports people both in career orientation and in the entire application process. She has also written several books on the subject of job applications.
