Goals:
The goals of the workshop are to provide students with the self-confidence and strategies to successfully master job interviews and conduct salary negotiations confidently. They learn to present their profile convincingly, to react confidently to critical questions and to cope effectively with nervousness. Through practical exercises, they develop individual answers to frequently asked interview questions.
Contents:
- Procedure of online and on-site job interviews
- Most common interview questions and response strategies
- Tips on appearance, behavior and mindset in job interviews
- Determination of salary expectations, as well as strategies of salary negotiation
- Dealing with nervousness
Speaker
Julia Barden is a psychologist with professional experience in the HR departments of large German companies, with a focus on recruiting, especially conducting interviews and assessment centers. She has been self-employed for five years and supports people both in career orientation and in the entire application process. She has also written several books on the subject of job applications.
