This year’s FIS-Forum and Social Policy Biennale will take place between November 6 - 8 in Berlin.
The biennale on November 8 features keynotes and round-table discussions with highly renowned speakers. Anke Hassel (Hertie School Berlin) will deliver a keynote address. The first round-table discussion will focus on “Social Policy from an Intersectional Perspective”. Furthermore, Philip Rathgeb (University of Edinburgh) will join other experts to discuss “The Radical Right and Social Policy” for our second round-table.
The programme includes a total of 16 parallel sessions on specific topics, structured along the DIFIS research areas and issue networks. Current research results related to the overarching conference topic, as well as other connected questions will be presented from both national and international perspectives. In addition to the biennale, we will offer English-speaking panels on the first and second day of the FIS-Forum.
