By Car
At the Stuttgart motorway junction take the A831/B14 towards Stuttgart-Vaihingen.
Take the S-Vaihingen exit, keep right and turn right at the traffic lights onto Hauptstraße.
Follow the main road and after a few hundred meters turn left into Heerstraße.
At the next traffic light turn left into Katzenbachstraße, which becomes Büsnauer Straße.
Follow Büsnauer Straße through the roundabout to Büsnau.
In Büsnau follow the signs and immediately turn right into Kaindlstraße.
Follow Kaindlstraße and turn right again to Bandtäle.
The institute is located at the end of the street.
By Train
From the "Hauptbahnhof", "Stadtmitte" or "Feuersee" stops, take the S-Bahn S1 (Herrenberg), S2 or S3 (both airports) to the "Universität" stop and walk to the institute (approx. 15 min) or take the bus lines 84 (direction Sindelfingen) or 92 (direction Leonberg) to the "Am Schattwald" stop.
The bus stops "Am Schattwald" (lines 81, 84, 91, 92, 746, 747 and 748) or "Ob dem Steinbach" (lines 81, 84, 91 and 92) are about 5-10 minutes on foot from the institute.
