We warmly invite you to join the live session "From PhD to Startup - how to identify suitable research projects?". Our goal is to provide you with insights into the opportunities of research and science transfer at the University of Stuttgart.

The event will begin with a welcome note from Alexander Brem, Startup Advisor at the University of Stuttgart and Director of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI). Afterwards, Claudiu Mortan and Michael Saliba will join us to tell us more about their journey of founding the startup perosol, which develops lightweight, flexible and sustainably printed perovskite solar cells. Another highlight of the session is the following Q&A session and discussion round with Katharina Hölzle and the two co-founders. Rubina Zern-Breuer, Head of Transfer Center (TRACES) will not only moderate the discussion but also give you an overview on how the startup support at the University of Stuttgart is structured, and then go more into detail on the support opportunities at TRACES. At last, we would like to introduce the activities of the project Elements4Founding to you, which aims to raise awareness around the topic of entrepreneurship for PhDs and Postdocs by conducting workshops and other events. Elements4Founding is located at ENI and supported by Vector Stiftung.
