As the second installment of the GCC mini-series "AIQ – Canada's and Germany's Artificial Intelligence Quotient", the German Canadian Concourse (GCC) 2020 will resume the discussion of GCC 2019 on Building Synapses of Transatlantic AI Cooperation. The focus of the upcoming conference will be AI in the Aerospace Industry.

The aerospace sector has grasped the potential of AI and there are growing numbers of single-use applications as well as a few end-to-end applications; we are starting to see how AI is impacting and transforming the aerospace industry.

The GCC 2020 will put a focus on the AI-related and machine learning aspects in the aerospace domain.

Services of Canada Meets Germany Network e. V. are not subject to Goods and Services Tax (small suppliers rule). / Leistungen des Canada Meets Germany Network e. V. unterliegen nicht der Umsatzsteuer (§ 19 UStG, Kleinunternehmer-Regelung).

A ticket entitles you to attend each session of the German Canadian Concourse, either in Montréal or in Berlin. The sessions need to be booked hereafter.

Sponsors will receive a promotion code for a discount in line with the sponsoring agreement.

Students may  apply for a discount in ticket fee.

The German Canadian Concourse will be held simultaneously in Montréal and Berlin; at each location there will be different program segments:

• Transatlantic Symposium (connecting both locations)
• Field Trip
• Networking Reception

You will be updated by email about the event schedule and timings of the individual sessions.

The ticket fees represent a contribution to the costs. Ticket fees cannot be reimbursed if the participation is canceled.

The ticket is not transferable. Please note that you are required to bring a photo ID to access either of the conference venues.

By registering for the German Canadian Concourse (GCC) 2020 you confirm that you have read and agree with the Terms and Conditions; in particular:

• You agree that your personal data may be used by the organizers of the German Canadian Concourse (i.e., the Canada Meets Germany Network e. V. and its partners) for planning purposes and to grant you access to the conference site. You furthermore agree that your name, position and company as well as details about the expertise which you are offering / searching at the GCC may be added to the list of participants which will be published in the conference brochure. Your contact information (address and email address) will not be revealed to any other party and will be used by the GCC organizers only to communicate information regarding the conference, unless you explicitly agreed to be part of the match-making process or that your contact information may published for instant messaging during the event.
• If you have agreed to take part in the match-making process, the organizers of the GCC may propose other participants at the symposium to contact you (during the event or as follow-up) on the basis of matching interests derived from the information that you provided at registration. In particular, your contact information would be provided to selected participants in the match-making process. The organizer may sub-contract the assessment of matching interests of participants to a consultancy firm; in this case, the registration information of participants of the match-making process will be provided to the consultant for the exclusive use of the match-making assessment.
• By attending the German Canadian Concourse, you agree to the usage of photo and video material of you recorded during the event for online publication and publication in print media by the GCC organizers for promotion of this event and future events. You further agree that the GCC organizers may host the photo and video material on external platforms (e.g., YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Flickr, Facebook ...).
