Overview
The Industrialized Additive Manufacturing Hub Hamburg e.V. (IAMHH e.V.) is a network dedicated to advancing the industrial use of additive manufacturing by connecting companies, research institutions, and ecosystem partners across Northern Germany. The IAMHH e.V. Fall Event hosted by our founding member the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) is an interactive 1.5-day program focused on implementing additive manufacturing in industry. Expect hands-on workshops, and structured networking within the AM community and across Hamburg’s wider industry networks.

What to expect on 8 October
• Opening update on IAMHH e.V. and plans for the coming years
• Session 1. Trade fair strategy for 2025 and 2026 including Formnext and our joint booth at Nortec 2026 and other trade shows
• Session 2. Networking inside the IAMHH community including speed dating, reverse pitches, and a poster walk with exhibits
• Session 3. Networking beyond IAMHH across Hamburg’s industry networks with moderated topic tables and open exchange
• Recap with clear next steps
• Offsite networking dinner in the evening
DESY tour on 9 October
• A guided tour of DESY facilities is offered in the morning.
General Information
Registration and tickets
• IAMHH members receive one complimentary ticket. (Members with more than 250 employees receive two complimentary tickets).
• Additional guest tickets can be booked for colleagues.
• Please register individually so that badges and workshop allocations are correct.
• If you can no longer attend, cancel your ticket to free up space for others.
• Registration ends on September 26th
Schedule: Please note that times and the detailed schedule may still change.
Networking and Workshops: Further information including templates for posterboards/presentations will be provided to attendees before the event.
Who should attend: Management and senior experts from industry, research, and ecosystem partners who want to move additive manufacturing from pilots to productive use.
Event language: The event runs in English. Contributions in German are welcome and can be accommodated, especially during workshop sessions.
Photos and privacy: You can choose during registration whether you consent to photos or videos of you being taken and used for documentation and communication. Your choice will be clearly marked on your badge.
