The Peatland Science Centre (PSC) invites you to attend the Peatlands and Ecosystem Functions - international Peatland Science Conference (iPSC): The conference will be held from September 18 to 21, 2024 on the Weihenstephan campus of the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (HSWT) in Freising, Germany. The conference will commence with an icebreaker event on the evening of September 18. Over the following two days, the program will feature a series of keynote addresses, thematic sessions, and poster presentations focusing on scientific and practical topics related to peatlands. On September 21, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the diverse peatland ecosystems of Bavaria through a selection of excursions. For those arriving early, there will also be the option to participate in various workshops on September 18. The conference will be conducted in both German and English, allowing for the participation of an international audience.
